Why is the program called Straighttalk?
“Straighttalk” describes the straight forward approach and teaching style of Pastor Mark. He does not hesitated in tackling the tough issues and going to the hard places in his teaching.
How long has Straighttalk been on the air?
Our first broadcast was May 1st 2006.

We describe the intro music as Urban-Latin. The music was specifically composed for Straighttalk and is not available for commercial sale yet.

I heard that Pastor Mark speaks Spanish. Does he ever teach in Spanish?
Although Mark was born in the USA he grew up in Spain. He learned Spanish as a child and actually studied in Spanish speaking schools. Although 95% of his teaching ministry is in English, he does occasionally speak at conferences and churches in Spanish.

Who is Dee Jobe?
Dee is Mark’s wife and long term partner in ministry. If you ask Mark he will say, “She is the better and prettier half of their marriage.” Dee grew up in Chicago and became a believer at an early age. Dee has a dynamic ministry in worship, coaching pastor’s wives and overseeing multiple ministries. Dee and Mark met and married in their early 20’s after three years of dating. Dee has a contagious laugh, a deep concern for children and a love for God that is quickly evident.
